Southwest Las Vegas is getting more dining and entertainment options. Developer J Dapper has his sites set on the vacant 17 acres of land located near Ikea just off of Sunset Road. The anchor tenant is said to be Galaxy movie theaters featuring 13 screens in approximately 73,000 square feet of space. Galaxy Theaters is a luxury movie theater with spacious leather power reclining seats, and generally have a wide selection of wine and beer on tap. The ability to reserve your seat ensures you don't need to rush to the theater to get your favorite spot.

The developer seems to be very interested in a great selection of food establishments. It's said that a handful of food chains will be making their first time appearance at The Bend. The brewery Aces and Ales plan a full brewery, Johnny Rockets burgers which can be spotted in many California outlet malls, Skinny Fats, Vesta coffee and Las Vegas' favorite Lotus of Siam will be adding an additional location, just to name a few.

The Bend will be a great addition to southwest Las Vegas, located between Town Square on Las Vegas Blvd and Downtown Summerlin on Charleston and 215, the location of The Bend will make it convenient for the over 15,000 residents in Mountains Edge and surround communities of Nevada Trails and Rhodes Ranch.
